Livescan refers to the process of capturing fingerprints or palm prints directly into a digitized format, as opposed to traditional ink and paper methods. Livescan systems have evolved from standalone capture devices to sophisticated systems with integration to multiple databases. Images can be captured, transmitted to a central location and interfaced with an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for identification processing.

The Cross Match Enhanced Limited Warranty is recommended for 24×7 customer care service and next business day replacement of hardware.
